Mistletoe and holly are great, and who doesn’t like settling in by a cozy fireplace to sip eggnog? But for the adventurous souls, Christmas Vacation can be a little, well, lackluster.  I’ve gathered a list, checked it twice, and want to share it with all of you (regardless of your naughty or nice status).

Santa Claus, how about Santa Ana. Let’s skydive!!

This 120 miles per hour, wind in your face excitement is sure to get your blood pumping.  Sky diving in Santa Ana has an experience available to all jumpers, from a rookie reindeer to a seasoned elf.  I’ve heard they even trained Santa on emergency jumping!

Leaping Reindeer! Bungee as Santa!!

While the Santa Bungee for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity event has already come and gone, add it to your wish list for next year! Taking place at the Riverside Museum, this is your chance to jump from hundreds of feet in the air, dressed as Mr. Claus himself. This experience has it all, international travel, adventure sports, and raising money for young hospital patients.

Ski with Santa!

‘Tis the season, ski season! Hit the slopes with the big man in red at Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Idaho. With runs for all skill sets, Schweitzer has plenty of adventurous fun wrapped under the tree and waiting!

Visit Santa’s summer home before the climb

uummannaq

At the foot of Mt. Uummannaq in Greenland sits a little log home, rumored to be the summer residence to Santa himself.  Stop over for a picture before you begin your trek to the 3855ft summit. Your skills will be tested, but isn’t that what this type of adventure is all about!
