The 2016 Olympic games will held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. But for those who are unable to make the trek to South America this summer, you can still take advantage of the sports scene whenever you decide to visit. Brazil offers plenty of adventure sports and activities one can enjoy long after the games are wrapped up.

The Rio 2016 website highlights some of the off the beaten path locations that tourists can visit to test their own athleticism. Here’s a look at Pedra Bonita mountain where TripAdvisor contributors have been known to take to the skies or go for a hike, many calling the secret spot “an amazing experience” with “breathtaking views.”
